Chandrashila

Chandrashila is the summit above Tungnath temple in India. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 3,690 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.


ANUSUYA MATA

One of the most famous pilgrim places in Chamoli is the Anusuya Devi Temple, dedicated to goddess Sati. She was the wife of Atri Muni, a great sage and one of the Sapta Rishis (Sapta means seven and rishis mean sages in Sanskrit). It is said that Devi Anusuya fully dedicated to her husband. It is located 30 kms away from Chopta.


RUDRANATH TEMPLE

Rudranath (रुद्रनाथ) is a Hindu temple dedicated to god Shiva, located in the Garhwal Himalayan mountains in Uttarakhand, India. Located at 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) above sea level,this natural rock temple is situated within a dense forest of rhododendron dwarfs and Alpine pastures.


TUNGNATH

Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tungnath mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys.


DEORIYA TAL

Deoriya Tal is situated on the Chopta - Ukhimath road about 3 kms, from roadside at Sari Village and is at an altitude of 2438 mts. This lake has captivating surroundings with forests all around. The reflection of the mighty Chaukhamba peak in the lake creates beautiful effect.
